On November 30, <a href=\"http:\/\/prana.com\/\">Prana<\/a> announced that they were being <a href=\"http:\/\/www.outdoornewswire.com\/v\/current\/htdocs\/etc\/sa.php\/63617465676f72794c6162656c3d436c696d62696e67266c6f636174696f6e3d323030352f31312f313133333336363236382672737349643d32313835\">acquired<\/a> by the women&#8217;s clothing company, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lizclaiborne.com\/home\/index.jsp\">Liz Claiborne<\/a>.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Prana co-owners and founders Beaver and Pam Theodosakis, and Demian Kloer, will continue to run the company. Prana, based in Vista, CA, is expected to generate net sales of approximately $30 million in fiscal 2005.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One of the primary reasons we selected Liz Claiborne was because of our ability to maintain a significant economic interest and independence in running Prana, which will allow us to preserve the quality and essence of the Prana brand that our customers and retailers expect,&#8221;\u009d said Beaver Thedoskis, Prana&#8217;s president. &#8220;This relationship goes far beyond the bottom line as we are highly impressed by Liz&#8217;s brand-building capabilities and corporate commitment to people, fair trade and the environment.
