A variety of news sources (Aspen Times, Climbing, americasroof news, and MountainZone.com) are all reporting that Aron Ralston completed his quest to become the first climber to solo the Colorado fourteeners in winter. Aron Ralston became famous (infamous?) as the Colorado climber who sawed off his own arm with a pocketknife after being trapped by a boulder in a narrow canyon in Utah’s Canyonlands National Park.
UPDATE: Our apologies to Mr. Ralston, but we initially misspelled his name. The correct spelling is Aron, not Aaron
